I picked up the Pandan Kaya cake ($18.80 for regular) before leaving since the family has been craving for it. It is perhaps the only cake I like from Bengawan Solo since I was a child. The combination of fragrant pandan, soft sponge cake and grated coconut is simply heady.
I can eat a slice for breakfast, another for tea break and not get tired of it!
