Do note the address as this little cafe is very nondescript and you can easily miss it while wandering along the shophouses.
The Manjari Lemon Cream ($4.80) was awesome! The mild sweetness of the chocolate mousse complimented the tangy lemon cream. If you have a sweet tooth, do consider giving this a miss since the sourish lemon cream really stood out.
Tiramisu ($4.80) was a bit of a let-down as the sponge was a little dry and there was no distinct taste of marsala wine, only that of espresso coffee. I've definitely had better ones elsewhere.
The waiter recommended the Pear Tart ($4) too. I didn't like it as there was an overwhelming amount of pastry as the crust was quite thick and buttery. I know I know, those who like tarts go for buttery crust but not me. I'm just not a tart person. Period.
The cafe is absolutely bustling with diners during lunch time! This is definitely a hidden gem worth exploring more in future.
