What's the highlight of a meal for foodies like Yoke Yee and I? Desserts, of course! We popped next door from Yoshuku Kitchen into ice cream heaven. As usual, the parlor was crowded with students and families. After deliberating for a long time (as usual), I settled on exactly what I had on my previous visit: a Mudpie ($4.80) topped with a scoop of Blackforest ice cream (additional $2).
Seriously, the blackforest ice cream rocks! Big time. The alcoholic taste was so strong and the brandied cherry gave a nice bite to the creamy and rich ice cream. Likewise, the mudpie was as good and sinful as before. After finishing a plate each (yes, do not underestimate our eating capacity!), we left the parlor satisfied and happy!
